Chicken with red sauce
Preparation time 10 minutes
Cooking time: 45 minutes
Total time: 55 minutes
Ingredients
3 chicken thighs or whole chicken1 onion, sliced
3 minced garlic cloves
1 tablespoon tomato paste
¼ Bouquet of finely chopped parsley
3 tbsp ketchup
2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
Salt to taste
Pinch black pepper
1 teaspoon curry
frying oil
2 cups boiling water
How to prepare
Protect a quarter cup of oil in a deep saucepan and sauté the chicken thighs so they turn red on both sides.Remove the chicken from the saucepan and add the onion and garlic and stir and leave to wither, then add the tomato paste, ketchup, pomegranate molasses, salt, black pepper and curry and stir until the sauce mixes well.
Add boiling water and stir to boil with sauce.
Place the chicken with sauce, cover the saucepan and simmer until simmer.
Remove the lid and add the parsley and stir and then pour the chicken with sauce in the serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley and serve white rice to the side
